Jump for Joy card tutorial: World Card Making Day from Simon Says Stamp!

I have been into these new Lawn Fawn clear stamps for a while. This card is for the Simon Says Stamp World Card Making Day contest! You can make fun cards for everyone you know, and all it takes is a black ink pad and a stamp block! It is very easy to use these stamps, and I have put together my ideas for a craft for you to enjoy. Here it is!

Supplies:

  • Colored Pencils

  • A black ink pad

  • An acrylic stamp block

  • White card stock paper

  • A fall color paper, any weight

  • A glue stick

  • A paper cutter or scissors

  • Fun scissors (optional)

  • Lawn Fawn "Jump For Joy" stamp set

Start by cutting your white paper to a good card size with your slide cutter/scissors. If you want a folding card, cut it double the width and crease it down the middle.

Select a few stamps and arrange a picture on a large acrylic block. Don't forget to make the picture so it fits on your card!

Gently but firmly tap the black ink pad onto the stamp scene.

Press the stamp onto the front of the card.

Color in the stamped on picture with colored pencils.

Cut a strip of the fall paper with your slide cutter/scissors. If you like, you can use a pair of fun scissors to add texture to the side of the paper strip.

Use some more stamps to add a saying to the strip. You can also use a marker to draw your own saying.

Glue the paper to the front of the card using a glue stick.

Ta da! Now you have a fancy card to give to your friends!
