Rainy days don't stop a craft!

It's a rainy day! So wet and boring... No one wants to stay cooped up all week. But this craft won't get you wet! Well, except for the fact it's a watercolor card... ;) Let's check out the supplies:

  • A piece of watercolor or card stock paper

  • Watercolors and paintbrush

  • An elephant, heart, and message stamp

  • A Crop-o-dile and/or fasteners that are heart shaped

  • Pink and black ink

  • Paper cutter

  • Painter's tape and a craft mat you don't mind getting wet with watercolor

  • And water for the watercolors, of course!

Figure 1: The crafting supplies

Step one: Cut your paper with a slide cutter to 6in by 6in.

Step 2: Tape the paper to a board with painter's tape.

Step 4: Watercolor your elephant a soft blue color.

Step 5: Watercolor her umbrella pink and then add some raindrops. If she does not have one then you can draw it in with a marker, or stamp an umbrella stamp on top.

Step 6: Paint in some grass with green watercolor. I added some blue to make it look like water dropping onto the grass.

Step 7: Stamp a message at the bottom of your paper in black ink.

Step 8: Peel up your tape to see your card!
